Originally from Katy, Texas, Brittany is a current PhD student studying Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Wayne State University. Her primary research interest broadly relates to the impact of non-standard (or contingent) work arrangements on workers’ ability to build sustainable careers. She graduated with her M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga in 2023 and is a SHRM-Certified Professional, with previous client-facing experience in manufacturing and food service industries.
Brittany is passionate about bringing contemporary organizational science with the firm’s coaching and assessment practice. She is active with the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and regularly presents research at the annual conference. Additionally, Brittany founded Workscapes, an I-O community-sourced art exhibit and celebration of SIOP attendees’ creative talents outside of professional work contexts. She enjoys collaborating across disciplines and bringing the right people together.
Outside of work, she likes to spend time with the Detroit community. Brittany is a trustee for the North Cass Community Union and volunteers for Dally in the Alley, Detroit’s longest-standing community festival celebrating the art, music, and culture of Detroit.
